Traditional Archery Championship

The Carolina Traditional Archers along with the Catawba Valley Wildlife Club will host this event on May 23, 24, and 25. The event features two, twenty 3D target courses, novelty shoots, free primitive camping, restrooms, hot showers, seminars, and home cooked meals. Trophies will be awarded for men, women and children in longbow, recurve, and primitive classes.  The Catawba Valley Wildlife Club is located on Highway 10 between Highway 18 and Highway 321.

Directions to Catawba Valley Wildlife Club:

From I-40 (at Hickory) use exit 123-A and take Hwy. 321 South, 6 miles to exit 37; exit Right onto NC Hwy. 10 West; go 10 miles on Hwy. 10, turn Right on Lynn Mountain Road; go 2.5 miles to Catawba Valley Wildlife Club entrance.

From I-85 (at Gastonia) take Hwy. 321 North to exit 37, exit Left onto NC Hwy. 10 West; go 10 miles on Hwy. 10, turn Right on Lynn Mountain Road; go 2.5 miles to the Catawba Valley Wildlife Club entrance.

From I-40 (at Morganton) use exit 105, take NC Hwy. 18 South, 17.4 miles to NC Hwy. 10; turn Left on Hwy. 10 East, go 5.0 miles to Lynn Mountain Road; turn Left and go 2.5 miles to the Catawba Valley Wildlife Club entrance.

ACCOMMODATIONS:

PRIMITIVE CAMPING:  each campsite must have at least one registered shooter; or the campsite fee is $40.00 for the weekend

SHOWERS & DRINKING WATER ON THE PREMISES

CATAWBA VALLEY WILDLIFE CLUB will serve BREAKFAST-LUNCH-DINNER, for a nominal fee
